First, a preamble. This site would be woefully inadequate as some sort of encyclopedic library of science fiction. I am not, therefore, attempting to be this. It is simply an attempt to give future perusers an idea of what the CUSFS library - or at least that segment of it which I could chew through in four years - contains. This is necessary because a quick google for many of the more obscure (but still rather good) works here will turn up the library listing itself at the top, and nothing useful below that.

A word of advice to the reader; this is not an attempt at criticism. This is because I am a mathematician and thus somewhat inept at what is rightfully the preserve of arts students. So, these are simply my opinions. I believe them to be not without merit, but who knows what you will think.

Finally, all reviews are by myself unless specified otherwise.

If you are in a hurry and want something to read, here is a list of really great books, without reviews.

An Excellent List
